Have you bought a home recently? What did you think was the hardest part of the process?
The NAR asked that question recently for their report, Real Estate in a Digital Age, and home buyers of all generations answered the same way: There was nothing more difficult than finding the right property, not even all the paperwork! :-)
A lot of home buyers like to look for homes themselves -- that's why we (and almost every real estate professional) offer full MLS search capabilities on our website. But we've noticed that very few people take advantage of the extra tools at their disposal, like saving searches and creating email alerts so you get notified as soon as a new home hits the market that matches what you're looking for. In a market that's as competitive as ours, little things like that can make the difference in getting the home you want before someone else buys it. (We're also happy to setup our buyers with email alerts that come directly from the internal MLS listing tool that we use.)
Home buying can be a difficult process. If you're planning to start it anytime soon, take advantage of whatever tools you can to make it easier.
